Janet (Jan) R. Sady is an author, motivational speaker, and storyteller. She loves to speak to children’s groups at schools and libraries. She is a certified lay speaker with the United Methodist Church, but also speaks for many other denominations as well as secular clubs.
She has authored “God’s Lessons and Parables, God’s Parables Book 2” which are filled with personal thoughts and devotions which she has been inspired to write. She loves history, and she has also authored a book titled, “The Bird Woman, Sacagawea.” Jan was commissioned to write the life story of a local former WWII Navy veteran, James R. Doverspike – “The Great American Dream.” Her two children’s books, “Mr. Bernie’s Most Favorite Place,” and “Winston Wants A Home For Christmas,” share interesting lessons for children in a subtle entertaining manner.
She has had hundreds of articles, devotions, poems and stories published during her writing career. She has also received cash awards as well as medals and certificates for excellency in writing.
